2025 Calendar Has Mailed!

The 2025 BRHS Calendar was mailed today (10/29/2024). The featured photographer this year is C. Richard “Dick” Neumiller. Dick, born in Peoria in 1931, was a lifelong resident until his passing in 2015. Dick spent much of his career as head of legislative affairs for Central Illinois Light Company and served on the Peoria City Council and as Peoria’s mayor. Dick loved photography and began shooting Kodachrome slides in 1950, especially enjoying capturing pictures of the colorful postwar streamliners. His collection contains 82,400 images covering 800 railroads. He had top-notch equipment, carried the Official Guide with him on his trips, and faithfully documented all the details of his photos.
